What is 'Ale Force One?'
Ale Force One is Indianapolis's most unique party bus with a craft beer theme! The bus 'comfortably' holds 12 passengers, but could fit up to 14. It can be rented by the hour for ANY occasion! It's not just a bus to use to visit breweries--(although that's obviously a lot of fun). It's used for bachelor parties, weddings, sporting event and concert tailgates, and so much more!
Do you have to be 21 years of age to ride along in a rental?
No! It's your private rental and you choose who joins you. However, everyone on the bus must be of legal drinking age for any drinks being served. Our driver will be checking the ID of everyone in your group, so please bring yours.
Do you provide the driver?
Yes. Ale Force One will provide your driver. All of our drivers are trained and certified to operate the bus. They're also a lot of fun. You may not provide your own driver.
Where can my group get picked up and dropped off?
We can pick up your group anywhere, or you can meet us (in the parking lot) at Centerpoint Brewing Co. in downtown Indianapolis, which is a very centralized location. (We park our bus in this same building as this brewery, but have no legal affiliation with them). There is plenty of FREE parking there for anyone in your group who would like to park there. Passengers may even leave their cars parked there overnight if a designated driver is not available at the end of your reservation. Centerpoint Brewing's address is 1125 E Brookside Ave Suite 2B, Indianapolis, IN 46202. *PLEASE NOTE: If we're picking you up somewhere other than Centerpoint Brewing Co., your rental time begins once the driver arrives to your first pickup location. HOWEVER, if we're dropping your group off at a custom location (i.e. NOT Centerpoint Brewing), you must allow 30 minutes for our driver to drive the bus back and clean it (if we're dropping you off within greater Indianapolis).
As an example: Let's pretend we're picking up the first person in your group in Carmel and you're renting the bus for 5 hours (from 6pm - 11pm). Our driver will arrive at this first pickup location at 6pm and your 5 hours begins at that time. However, he will need to drop off your last person by 10:30pm to allow him 30 mins to drive the bus back downtown (where we park it) and clean it. Alternatively, if your entire group would like to meet at the centralized location of Centerpoint Brewing Co. and be dropped off at Centerpoint Brewing Co., your reservation will begin at 6pm at Centerpoint and end at 11pm at Centerpoint.
Where can the party bus go?
We can drive you anywhere around Indiana or even past the state's border for a special event. We just want to know in advance of each rental where you plan to go (so that our driver can plan accordingly). If the bus will be taken outside of the greater Indianapolis area (i.e. south of Greenwood, north of Noblesville, there will be an additional $50 'out of town' fee, which is common for most party bus rentals. This cost is to help cover the additional fuel used.
Why does the bus have such a strong craft beer theme?
The bus has an Indiana craft beer theme because we love and support our state's craft beer industry! The inside of the bus has lots of Indiana brewery memorabilia. It's what helps make our bus unique and special. While we love craft beer, you can of course enjoy whatever you'd like to bring on the bus to drink. We are NOT a 'brewery tour' bus. We're happy to take your group to any breweries you'd like to visit during your reservation, but you can reserve it for ANY reason or ANY occasion!
Can my group bring our own food & drinks on the bus?
Sure. You can bring whatever food or drink you'd like, including alcohol. If alcohol is brought on board, all passengers who will be drinking must be of legal drinking age and must adhere to our rental TERMS & CONDITIONS. Any intoxicated passengers will immediately be returned to the drop-off location before the bus can resume its route. Your safety is our #1 priority!
Can you supply us with alcohol?
No, we cannot. However you may BYOB (bring your own beverages), including small, sixth-barrel kegs. We supply basic plastic cups and paper towels to accommodate your beverages during your trip. Everyone must be 21+ years of age to drink on the bus. Our driver will ID all passengers.
Wait, we can bring kegs on the bus?
Yes, you may. Our 'Bottoms Up' draft system bar on the inside of the bus has 3 draft dispensers that are also connected to 3 draft lines on the outside of the bus as well (great for tailgates). PLEASE NOTE: Our coolers are only designed to carry up to 6 different (sixth-barrel-sized) kegs. Not familiar with the size of a sixth-barrel of beer? Click here to learn more. Since we park our bus in the same building as Centerpoint Brewing Co., please consider purchasing your sixth-barrel kegs from them. They regularly sell and provide kegs for our riders. The pick up and the drop off of the kegs will be easy! You will need to contact them directly to place your order. Please either call them directly at (317) 602-8386 or send an email to [email protected] to place your order. To be clear, though, you can bring any sixth-barrels kegs from any brewery you'd like.
Will you provide our ice or water?
No. You will need to purchase and provide your own ice and/or water. We're happy to swing by any convenience store during your ride so that you can pick some up. Remember, we have a built-in cooler for you, so there's no need to bring your own coolers. We suggest you do not bring your own coolers as they just take up unnecessary space.
Can we smoke on the bus?
No. Smoking of any substance is strictly prohibited on our bus and will be subject to a $150 fine per occurrence. If you would like to have a smoke break, please let the driver know and he will take you to a safe location where you can smoke off the bus.
Can we store all of our stuff on the bus during the rental?
Absolutely! We have a ton of secure, dry storage underneath all of the seats. However, we ARE NOT responsible for lost or damaged items that are stored.
Does the bus have 'traditional' power outlets for our electronics?
Yes. The bus has multiple, easily-accessible power outlets that may be used to charge your phones or power any small, personal electronics. Many of the power outlets even include USB ports as well.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards and are also happy to accept cash for your remaining balance at the start of your reservation when the driver arrives (you just need to let us know in advance). Otherwise, we'll automatically use the credit card used for your initial $150 deposit to pay the remaining balance of your reservation 7 days prior to your reservation date.
Should we tip the driver?
Definitely. While it's not required, tips up to 20% are certainly appreciated. Our drivers work hard to ensure you have a great time and are safe during your rental. They work for tips and would appreciate any appreciation you can show them for a job well done!
Can we extend our rental beyond what we planned?
In most situations, yes. However, it's dependent on the driver's schedule and availability to extend each rental. Ask him during your rental and he or she will let you know. For any additional hours added to your tour ($75/hour), we'll calculate that at the time of your request, wherein you'll be asked to pay via cash or credit card (in advance). So, for example, if you're having a great time and want to extend your reservation for an additional 2 hours, you will be required to pay the driver $150 cash or $150 credit before your additional time begins. (We can easily accept credit card payment on the bus).
What's your cancellation policy?
You can cancel your reservation anytime up to 7 days prior to the date of your reservation. (Just email us or call us to cancel your reservation). The $150 non-refundable deposit will not be refunded--HOWEVER, if you reschedule your reservation, we'll apply that deposit toward your new reservation date. (We like to be easy to do business with).
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We are a reliable transportation company that specializes in providing superior customer service with safe equipment and dependable staff. Our bus is operated by professional drivers who provide safe and reliable services for you and your guests. We are fully licensed, insured and permitted to operate in Indiana. We are in compliance with all state regulations.
What happens if your company needs to cancel our reservation?
In the unlikely scenario that the bus experiences mechanical or technical difficulties that would prevent us from accommodating your existing reservation, we will refund your entire payment (including deposit) in full and will work with you to recommend some alternative transportation options.
Why does the inside and the outside of the bus say "Indiana On Tap?"
Indiana On Tap (www.IndianaOnTap.com) is a paid marketing and advertising partner to the bus. The bus and service is NOT owned by Indiana On Tap.
